June has not been a barrel of fun. We have had so many aspects, challenging us all! Just to name a few, solar eclipse and new Moon in Gemini (June 10), Mars went from Cancer to Leo (June11), Jupiter went retrograde the same day as the Sun went into Cancer (June 20), and most recently, Mercury went direct at 6:00 pm straight up (ET, June 22). I suppose I don't have to tell the astrophiles, all of these events make for an intense introspective, and communicative month. Life evaluations were the order of the month. Having been through this rough month, we are setting up for the peak summer months.

July comes in just after Venus exits Cancer, and enters Leo, June 26th. This means we are heading into the stronger, fiery energy of Leo, This, also, means the weather will respond with warmth. Saturday, July 3rd, we see squares between the Moon in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn, also, Mars in Leo and Uranus in Taurus. This all means that we will see a trigger of the police, Black Lives Matter theme, from the last couple years, triggered back to life. With Moon in Aries, frustration around a sense of safety at home, which in America, is also the home country, as we are a Cancer (Moon ruled) country. Aries drives us to act out, or act upon, hence the expression coming out over the couple (and a half) days the Moon is in Aries. Add a square to authority (Pluto in Capricorn) and we have a volatile situation, likely to make headlines. Mars (ruler of Aries) now in Leo, a fire element sign, will express via creativity, children, playfulness, gambling, fun and leadership. All these areas will be more accented and obvious in our daily lives. Whenever we have Leo, we see bravado in public, with politicians, or actors and news stories. Squares will create a challenge to leadership, and children. Our creativity is challenged. Pluto being the planet, ideology, values, psychology of leaders, and determinations are the order of the day. We find how actions will be brash, or self-serving, Pluto can feel like a psychological challenge. We may feel we want to behave more childish to the perceived authority over us. This is designed to get us aware of how we are the authority over ourselves. We need a shift of perspective or authority. If we don't feel confident, this may be why. Hidden agendas can come out, unapologetically. It will be highly frustrating,
The same day, July 3rd, we have Sun inconjunct (150°) aspect to Saturn. Sun being the ruler of Leo, our senses of autonomy may be in question. Saturn in the sign of Aquarius is about just that. The structure of our independence can be challenged by forces out for their own agendas. And, finally, Moon in Taurus squares Venus in Leo on the 3rd. This is a challenge of women. Women can be at odds with Mom, or a homelife situation. Given this is, also, the day before our country's birthday, look for a stress-situation for America, which can challenge England, as well.
July 9th, we have a new Moon in Cancer at 18°. Between 9pm ET and 10pm ET the Sun and Moon join in Cazimi. This is a powerful energy for new beginnings. Great start time. Mercury comes into Cancer on the 11th of July. He will be answering to the Moon, so mooooody, and changeable. Mental acuity may be a bit foggy as Mercury is swamped, emotionally.
The fifteenth and sixteenth sees Chiron retrograde in Aries. Storylines about woundings, associated with the Wounded Healer, so aggression, ambition, assertiveness, self-centered people. Venus inconjunct to Neptune on the 16th can accent the trauma or heartache experienced. Moon opposite Chiron this day enforces it. Just know that time to be alone at home, or time to heal may be needed. Saturday, the 17th, the Moon enters Scorpio, and then trines Jupiter in early Pisces (retrograde). We are plunging to the depths of emotion. Knowing this is coming, we should have our friends lined up, phone numbers ready. Be kind and gentle with yourself, as now is an extremely sensitive time. Sunday the 18th continues the tears, I am sorry to say. Four inconjuncts (once again... 150° apart planetary aspects) Venus to Pluto - 3:48 am ET, Moon to Chiron at 12:34 pm, Mercury to Saturn 1:13 pm ET, and Mars to Neptune at 2:22 pm ET, followed at 3pm ET by Moon in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus. The numerology speaks, as well... The themes are home, commitment and value from and for family members, aggression and autonomy/personal authority, and your value as a person.
Emotional tensions ease Monday around 5pm ET as Moon enters Sagittarius. Tuesday, the 20th of July, focus on home tech, new technology purchases for the home. Wednesday, the 2st, Venus moves into considerate and practical Virgo. By Thursday, she is in opposition to Jupiter, and finding out how to be more chill. Later in the day, June 22, we enter the Sun sign of Leo. Again, positive vibes at that ingress, with some contrary planets in the afternoon. Moon is in Capricorn and that makes the Sun a bit uncomfortable. This could be a day for clashing ideas.
Friday, July 23rd, the Moon enters Aquarius, after a conjunction to Pluto. The conjunction makes us feel out of control, or focused on those who control us. It can be tense, but followed quickly by the Aquarian vibe of optimism. At 10:37 pm, Sun and Moon oppose each other, but this synergy focuses on relationships, personal, and group activity. We can be cooperative if we recognize others are allowed to be themselves in the collective.
Sunday, July 25th, watch out for possible accidents, and look to the underlying energy expression to find out how we may attract this. Especially in the home environment. Pisces Moon at night makes for deep sleep, lots of dreams and spirit communications.
The week of July 26th, the days are clearer, and more singly focused on individual energies of the signs. Monday is Pisces day, Tuesday is Leo, Jupiter jumps back into Aquarius, with a hint of other connections, Moon in Aries, and fiery Mars and Sun. Venus in Virgo will get her feelings hurt on the 28th, which also translates to toes stepped on, for teachers, nurses, and helpers of all sorts. Being polite gets us nowhere this day. It is time for assertive action, and lines in the sand.
Mars does enter Virgo on Thursday the 29th, so Virgo will get her day. This is the sign and placement of workaholics. After the morning Mars/Leo opposition to Jupiter in Aquarius, it is time to get down to work. A Venus inconjunct to Saturn midday on Friday means unexpected problems, and the weekend may not be a smooth sailing, with some added work hours thrown in. Moon enters Taurus at 4:08 pm, making us all pragmatists, and focused on the material world. A Moon trine to Mars reinforces the focus, money and work. If you are one of the lucky ones to go out on a date this Friday, it will be mannerly, and traditional, i.e. dinner and a movie.
Finally, Saturday the 31st of July is a harder weekend day. Moon squares Mercury in Leo, along with the Sun in the morning. Afternoon, she squares Saturn, and trines Virgo Venus. Moon wraps up the day with a conjunction to Uranus... an likely indicator that we will not keep this Taurus girl home. She is impractical, untethered, and ready to own her path. Stay out of her way. She's had a tough week, and month!
